Peter DePasquale is a successful boxer, trainer, manager and promoter.  He wrote The Boxer’s Workout in 1987 to bring the fitness, technique and enjoyment of the boxer’s non-contact floor  workout routine to those with no prior boxing experience.  Since that time The Boxer’s Workout has come to be relied upon by boxers and trainers at all levels.

Boxing is Peter’s passion.  He competed as an amateur boxer through the early 1980’s while attending college and beginning his career in advertising.  During that time he trained under Al Gavin and Bob Jackson at New York’s historic Gramercy Boxing Gym.  After his competitive boxing days Peter continued to do a boxer’s workout circuit at the Gramercy.  He wrote The Boxer’s Workout at the urging of fellow “white collar boxers” and with the close consultation and support of Al and Bob.

In the early 1990’s, under the tutelage of Al and Bob, Peter became a New York State licensed manager and trainer.  Since that time he has managed, co-managed, trained or helped train  many successful boxers including USBA and NABF contenders and champions.

Peter later teamed with his brother Luddy to form DePasquale Brothers, a leading regional boxing promotion company.  DePasquale Brothers was named “Promoter Of The Year” by the USBA, with several of its shows telecast nationally by USA Network (Tuesday Night Fights) and ESPN.

In addition to his boxing commitments, Peter is a founding partner in Arena Partners, a branding and marketing firm.  He resides in Brooklyn Heights, a stone’s throw from nearby Gleason’s Gym.  He is a member of The Author’s Guild.
